Welcome! Holy Protection Orthodox Church, in the Kansas City area, is a young parish of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia, in the Diocese of Chicago and Mid-America. Our bishop is Archbishop Alypy of Chicago, assisted by Bishop Peter. Our priest is Father Christopher Stade of St. John Chrysostom Orthodox Church.

We meet regularly for worship each weekend in the small chapel at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 9100 Mission Road, in Prairie Village, Kansas (corner of 91st Street and Mission). We are very grateful to the wonderful people at LCR for their kindness and hospitality.
On Saturday evenings, Vigil is at 6 p.m. On Sunday mornings, we meet for worship at 10:30 a.m. Please visit our parish blog for schedules for feast days and priest’s visits.
